Ms. Mogul® Roars Christmas Hope for Families At the Houston Area Women’s Center
Today business leader and author, Chairidee Smith, also known as “Ms. Mogul®,” announced her holiday book campaign. The women and children’s advocate has agreed to donate 100 copies of her award-winning book, ‘The Roar Of A Woman’ to women re-building their lives with The Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) in Houston, TX.
Ms. Smith will deliver the books along with special guests and surprises on December 6, 2018, to Interim President Sonia Corrales.
Ms. Smith’s, ‘The Roar of a Woman,’ gives the reader a raw, unfiltered look into her life of struggle with childhood domestic violence, her own abusive marriage, the incarceration of her husband, and losing everything. Her moment of clarity came while watching The Lion King. In the book, she shares how she heard, “You are more than what you have become.” That statement challenged her status quo and released her dormant power. It empowered her to ascend in life and business leadership, and unleashed “the roar of the lioness within.”
